Sessions 59-63 netted everyone 37,867 experience points.

Session 64 gives experience points only to Kel, Blackwell, Asphodel and Zola which totaled 23,200 experience points

In addition to this number, the in-character rewards experience ans status is as follows:
Kel gains 720 xp
jobi gains 600 xp
Zola gains 720 xp
Blackwell gains 840 xp
Asphodel gains 720 xp
Zerak gains 600 xp

So the totals for each are
kel has 342,201 xp
Zola has 350,520 xp
Blackwell has 350,520 xp
Asphodel has 348,120 xp
Jobi has 337,080 xp

Sessions 52-58 conclude the first part of Zola's backstory and as such nets her an additional 4800 experience. Also I am summarizing the In Character Rewards experience from session 53-58. Any that have made 5 or more consecutive sessions is eligible for an additional reward as listed in the In Character Rewards post. The complete totals will be shown below.

Kel gains 480 xp for 4 good sessions but alas lost the card this past session.

Jobi gains 600 xp and has made 5 consecutive sessions.

Zola gains 720 xp and has made 6 consecutive sessions.

Blackwell gains 600 xp and has made 5 consecutive sessions.

Asphodel gains 720 xp and has made 6 consecutive sessions.

Zerak gains 720 xp and has made 6 consecutive sessions.

Now for the rest of the experience: Everyone has earned 60,133 xp for part 1 of The Afterlife Machine and the complete totals (including everthing spelled out above) are as follows:

Sessions 50 and 51 netted enough experience for everyone else (except Kel) to reach 12th level. Feel free to update your characters since after the last battle with Alira Vond, there are no more battles till we rejoin this game in several months. Session 52 will be just a RP session to wrap up some things you may want to do (and possibly some more downtime if you guys want it).

So everyone gained 14,934 experience points. Zerak and Jobi also gained an additional 1,600 xp each as a story award and Kel receives an extra 5,200 xp for her settlement building downtime activities. The grand totals are:

Jobi 237,880; Zerak 227,880; Blackwell 227,880; Asphodel 225,480; Zola 223,080; Kel 179,800

Experience points are awarded once again. This covers sessions 45-49 (even though the battle wasn't finished yet).

We'll start with Kel who has recently rejoined the group. She receives 27,790 for a total of 159,666 making her 11th level. Note that this doesn't include any experience from her "off camera" work on her temple/settlement.

Everyone else receives 33,550 points for the following totals: Jobi has 221,346 - welcome to 12th level! Blackwell has 212,946. Zerak has 211,346. Asphodel has 210,546. And Zola has 208,146 experience points.

If your character leveled, please have a new version of her ready for the next session, just in case you guys rest before the session is over.

Session 44 gets an experience post because I’m awarding Blackwell an additional 2,400 experience points as a story award for getting some of his lycanthopic powers back. The party earned 7,680 each. Totals are: Jobi = 187,796: Blackwell = 179,396: Zerak = 177,796: Asphodel = 176,996; Zola = 174,596

Session 43 nets everyone 23,520 experience points and this is enough for everyone else to level up to 11th level! Totals are now the following: Jobi = 180,116; Zerak = 170,116; Asphodel and Blackwell = 169,316; and Zola = 166,9166

This experience point award post is actually a two-parter since Kel is off on a break.

For sessions 39 through 41 everyone earned a total of 23,333 experience points and Blackwell gets an additional 2,400 experience points story award. Current totals should be: Zola and Kel at 131,876. Asphodel and Blackwell at 134,276. Zerak at 135,076 and Jobi at 145,076.

For session 42 now that the party numbers five (and Kel does not receive any of this) the experience point total is 11,520 and the totals are as follows: Zola 143,396; Asphodel and Blackwell 145,796; Zerak is at 146,596; and Jobi is now 11th level with a total of 156,596! Please have an updated sheet for 11th level so you can use it after the group rests.

Since Kel is going to be in the background for a little I will work out separate experience for her as she develops her settlement, which should keep her close in level to the rest of the party.

Session 38 put everyone over the top to 10th level! A total of 6,400 points were earned by all making the totals thus: Base total 108,543; Zerak 111,743; Jobi 121,743; Asphodel 110,943.

Since the PCs are leveling up in the middle of an adventure, you can only take a level in one of his/her existing classes. When leveling in a large enough town (like Neverwinter, or Valindra's Blackstone Keep) you are able to choose any approved class to level into.

For session 37, the PCs earned another 2,667 experience points for a base total of 102,143. Zerak will go up a level with a total of 105,343 - so please have an updated character sheet ready for when the party rests next. And Jobi's total is 115,343 points and Asphodel's total is 104,543 points.

For sessions 34-36 everyone gets 14,467 experience points for a base total of 99,476. Zerak should have 102,676. Asphodel should have 101,876. And Jobi should have 112,676.Jobi is now 10th level!

The end of the Deck of Many Things story yields everyone another 7,739 experience points (for sessions 32 and 33)! I'm giving Asphodel a 2,400 story xp bonus for playing the obsession of the cards well and for learning the names of her original captors. And Zerak gets an additional 1,200 story points for the extra diplomatic efforts and learning his original family name. So the totals as I have them are as follows: The total experience points is 85,009. Zerak should have 88,209, Asphodel should have 87,409 points, and Jobi should have 98,209 points (which includes the 10,000 xp bonus from the Jester card reward she took).

As we move forward, you'll begin to see more individual story awards as more background stories start to get into full swing, so don't despair if you haven't seen an individual bonus yet because they're coming. :)

Exciting News Indeed! Session 31 has pushed everyone's experience point totals above the magic number for 9th level! Everyone gets 8,141 points for a total of 77,270. Zerak's total is 79,670 and Jobi's total is 80,470 (let me know if my math is off). Let me know what class you'll be taking for your 9th level. And I'll be out of town the next two Fridays - so the next session will be July 5th - lots of time to update your character, including on the site. :)

NOTE: Please keep your 8th level character at the same level of hit points, spell use, etc - this is because we are in the middle of a battlefield and you won't actually be able to rest and level up until after the battle for Gardmore Abbey is done. We will be using your 8th level characters for about the first half of the session on July 5th. So make sure you have your 9th level character all ready to go.

For sessions 29 and 30, everyone gets 10,834 experience points. This should be a total of 69,129 for everyone except Zerak (who has 71,529) and Jobi (who has 72,329), assuming my records and math are correct. Almost level 9!

I'm awarding each PC 5,334 experience points for Session 28. In addition each PC gets a story award of 1 rank in Knowledge (dungeoneering) and 1 rank in Knowledge (engineering) to reflect lessons learned in demolitions. If these are class skills for you and you have not put any ranks into these skills, please remember that you add 3 bonus points.

This week's synopsis also contains content from Asphodel's point of view (written by Kevin). If you want to have your character's point of view included in the synopsis, then just send me a write up and I will work it in (try to keep it to the point at hand, since if I get something from everyone, the post may turn out quite long).

For Session 27 everyone gets an additional 3,200 experience points, which means everyone has 52,961 points  (except Zerak who has 55,361). I'm also awarding Jobi an additional story award of 3,200 experience points so she should have a total of 56,121 points.

No game this Friday (May 3 2013). We will resume the following Friday (May 10 2013).

For the last two sessions (25 & 26), everyone earned quite a bit of experience points. Everyone gets 8,267 which puts everyone just shy of 8th level (total is 49,761). Zerak has a higher total at 52,161 which makes him 8th level IF the party rests after the encounter we just had. If they don't rest, then he is at 7th level as well.

Since the next encounter will put everyone at 8th level, I'd like everyone to bring not only their 7th level version but a leveled up 8th level version of their character for the next session.

Make sure your 7th level character is left just as it was after the battle in the large room.

I will award experience points after the next session as well so you'll have the experience totals for your 8th level versions.

OK, up through last week's session (#24), everyone gets an additional 6,400 experience points. If my records are correct that would make everyone's total (except Zerak) 41,494 with zerak having a total of 43,894. Still a ways to go to 8th level. Please let me know if my numbers are incorrect.

For everything that had gone on in Session 21, the experience points awarded to each of you are 4,200. I believe puts everyone up to level 7! Whoo Hoo!

Since we left off right at the beginning of an ambush please keep your 6th level version of your characters for that battle.

But also bring a 7th level version of your character that you will begin to use right after that battle.

Up through Session 20, the experience points awarded to each of you are 7,400 - making a total of 30,894 if my math is correct. And for being selfless towards your party members by sacrificing a limb and magic to try to ensure everyone's safety, I award Zerak an additional 2,400 experience points.

For Session 16, the experience points awarded are 4,000 each - the total should be 23,494 I believe and this makes you all 6th level!

Remember everyone gets 1 hero point for leveling up.
Zerak gets an additional hero point for his innovative use hero points and the boon he had from Halaster's puzzle in order to save Jobi - This is a special award and does not count towards the usual 3 hero point maximum if you already have three.

Please also send me an update to your magic items - the ones you currently have AND your wishlists. If anyone wants to add a level in a prestige class, please send me an email confirming its ok to add the class. Since you're still in a dungeon, some of the benefits may have to wait until you reach the surface again.

Make sure you also update your characters on the web site as well.

The experience points awarded for the last couple sessions is 2,800. This should bring your individual totals to 19,494.

OK so as session 13 went – each member gained 800 experience points to get to level 5 (a total of 15,661).

Plus in addition through the Undermountain encounters each member gets an additional 1,033 (so the total should be 16,694 if I’m not mistaken).

Everyone gets a total of 3476 experince points for the recent string of encounters.

Note that you should have a total of 14,861 experience points (if my calculations are correct).

Very close to 5th level, but still 4th.

I expect that each of you will attain 5th level after the next encounter I have planned for our next session. So, we will start with the 4th level version of your characters, since that encounter assumes that you are still 4th level.

But please have a 5th level version of your character ready to go, so we get into new encounters. Based on our history, I tend to think that the intervening role-playing encounters will go smoothly and leave us enough time to get into some more "meat and taters" encounters that y'all love. :)
